If you’re thinking about celebrating the 4th of July in the Hamptons, now is the time to plan your travel. Independence Day celebrations are extremely popular in the Hamptons, attracting travelers from all over the country. In this post, we’ll be focusing specifically on three wineries on the South Fork, a.k.a. the Hamptons.

When people talk about Long Island wine tours or the “wine trail,” they’re often referring to wineries on the North Fork. That’s because there are dozens of vineyards situated close together, particularly along Route 25. This allows visitors to explore multiple locations in one outing, hopping from one vineyard to the next (safely and comfortably, of course, in one of our chauffeured luxury vehicles at Jackrabbit Limo).

But the North Fork is not the Hamptons.

Southampton 4th of July Parade

This 100+ year-old parade is believed to be the oldest and largest Independence Day parade on Long Island! Organized by the Southampton Village Commission on Veterans Patriotic Events, the parade moves along North Main Street, starting at Railroad Plaza. Previous parades have featured marching bands, Revolutionary War reenactors, dancers, singers and numerous other performers.
