How to Plan the Perfect Hamptons Girls’ Weekend

Dreaming of an unforgettable weekend with your BFFs on the East End? A Hamptons girls’ weekend is the pinnacle of sophistication, relaxation and fun. But if you want to do it right, there are a few things you should know.

In this guide, we share everything you need to make your Hamptons getaway amazing: where to stop, how to get around and more.

What is a Hamptons Girls’ Weekend?

Let’s start with the basics. A “Hamptons girls’ weekend” is a chance to escape the everyday hustle and connect with your besties in the iconic seaside communities on the South Fork of Long Island, New York. The goal: live glamorously, create memories and, of course, share every moment on your socials! A Hamptons girls’ weekend typically includes stops at chic boutiques, world-class wineries and 5-star restaurants – but the itinerary is really up to you.

It's an Influencer- Worthy Getaway

The Hamptons have been an iconic summer getaway for over a century. But lately, it’s hotter than ever. It’s become the new trend among girlies (and guys too) who want to experience the quintessential Hamptons weekend – and post it on Insta and other social feeds.

Where to Go: 9 Must Stops

Now, it’s time to choose your fireworks show. Since these events are scheduled for different dates, in different parts of the Hamptons, you can choose the show that works best for your travel plans.

1. Wölffer Estate Vineyard (Sagaponack)

A must-visit for any Hamptons trip! Enjoy a wine tasting on their beautiful estate in Sagaponack. Their rosé is iconic. They also have a more casual “Wine Stand” for a more relaxed and social vibe. (In our experience, the Wine Stand is where it’s at.) Consider a chauffeured wine tour if you want to hit up multiple Hamptons wineries in one afternoon.

2. The Surf Lodge (Montauk)

A Montauk hotspot known for its live music, bohemian-chic vibe and beautiful sunset views over Fort Pond. It’s a great place for drinks and “to see and be seen” (especially for influencers and the content-creator crowds).

3. Duryea’s Lobster Deck (Montauk)

While you’re in Montauk, be sure to try the lobster salad at Duryea’s. It’s a little pricy, but it’s to die for!

4. Carissa’s Bakery (East Hampton)

A viral favorite for matcha lattes, almond croissants and European-style bread. Expect to pay around $15 for a coffee and pastry, but the chic interior and delicious treats make it totally worth the stop.

5. Tracy Anderson gym (Water Mill)

Sweat off those amazing treats with a workout class at the Tracy Anderson gym – definitely a hot spot with the influencer crowd right now.

6. Round Swamp Farm (Bridgehampton)

The farmstands and picnics are so cute! Round Swamp Farm is this year’s must-visit. It’s an organic market in Bridgehampton known for its gourmet guacamole and salads. Popular with TikTokers and a great place to grab picnic supplies.

7. Chanel and Designer Boutiques (East Hampton)

Chanel’s seasonal pop-up boutique temporarily closed in 2025, but you can still snap a selfie in front of it to prove you were there! Then, simply walk over to Prada, Louis Vuitton and other designer shops in town.

8. Malloy's Waterfront Marina (Sag Harbor)

You don’t have to own a yacht to snap an amazing pic in front of one! Malloy’s Waterfront Marina is a great spot to see some super-yachts (and some cute little boats too). Also good for quiet time before dinner or in between other hotspots.

9. Coopers Beach (Southampton)

So, Hamptons girls’ weekends aren’t really about the beaches. But if you do want some time to unwind in the sun and experience the beautiful ocean views, Coopers Beach in Southampton is a great place to do it. It’s one of the most popular public beaches in the Hamptons. Parking is inexpensive, and the beach has lots of amenities: a food stand, bathhouse, umbrella rentals and on-duty lifeguards.

Where to Stay

There are several hotels throughout the Hamptons, plus plenty of private Airbnbs and VRBO rentals. For iconic luxury and a vibrant social scene, consider Gurney’s Montauk Resort in Montauk. If classic elegance and a central, walkable location are more your style, The Baker House 1650 in East Hampton offers historic charm in a bed and breakfast setting. For a more intimate and chic boutique experience, The Reform Club in Amagansett is another great option.

How to Get Here (and Get Around)

For a true Hamptons girls’ weekend, there is no better way to travel than in a private, chauffeured sprinter van or SUV. It’s the ultimate in luxury, comfort and convenience, because you can sit back and hit all your preferred stops without having to worry about driving, parking or public transportation. Plus, you can use the same limousine provider to get to and from the Hamptons from NYC and the airports. So easy and worth it.
